Gerani is a small seaside village, with a 2.5 km long beach, located 15 km west of Chania, on the National Road to Kisamos. It has a beautiful sandy beach,which gains every year the Blue Flag ,with accommodation, food and drink facilities, as well as places for swimming and sunbathing.

It has regular buses to Chania city. One can also use taxis and private hire cars or motorbikes.
